Carina Brown | Library Media Assistant II
Midland Elementary School
Carina Brown began her career with the Moreno Valley School District as a Parent
Ambassador in the 2014 school year. She has been the Library Media Assistant at
Midland for the past six years. Carina created a warm, welcoming environment for
students and staff in the library causing it to be a place students want to be. She
has also implemented programs for students such as: Junior Librarian Club, Million
Dollar Word Club, and Google It! biography webpage creation. Carina’s future goals in
education include transitioning from a Classified staff member to a Certificated staff
member and becoming a teacher here in the Moreno Valley Unified School District.
