Principal's Message

Welcome to Midland, SOARing Thunderbirds!

I am pleased to introduce myself to you as the proud Principal of Midland Elementary School. I have a long history of connection with Midland as it was the first school that I taught at in Moreno Valley way back in the early 1990's. I was also privileged to serve as Midland's Assistant Principal from 2017-2020. And now I am back once again to serve the entire Midland Elementary community as Principal.  Midland truly feels like home to me.

Midland focus on our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program and kindness. Students learn about our SOAR motto every month. SOAR stands for Safe, Accountable, Organized, and Respectful which are all traits that lead to success in school and in life.

Finally, one of the greatest characteristics of the Midland community is the genuine care and compassion shared among staff, students, and parents. Thank you for allowing us to take care of your child during the day. They are truly amazing. We are looking forward to an incredible year!
